TEDxUCLWomen is a movement celebrating the remarkable achievements of women at UCL and in the wider community, while looking at the barriers preventing women and girls worldwide from achieving their full potential.

Our movement began in December 2013 with the success of our inaugural event, ‘Women Unbound’.

In 2015, TEDxUCLWomen returned to stream 90 minutes of TEDWomen 2015, hosting an exciting programme of talks from local actors, creating a TEDx Experience Space and launching our magazine. We are not only creating a platform to address pressing issues regarding women, but building a community whose ideas and enthusiasm is attracting attention locally and globally.

We are creating Momentum:
Moving forward. Gaining speed. Building traction.

What is TEDx?

TEDxUCLWomen is a movement celebrating the remarkable achievements of women at UCL and in the wider community, while looking at the barriers preventing women and girls worldwide from achieving their full potential. Our movement began in December 2013 with the success of our inaugural event, ‘Women Unbound’. In 2015, TEDxUCLWomen returned to stream 90 minutes of TEDWomen 2015, hosting an exciting programme of talks from local actors. Our biggest event yet was in 2016, with 400 guests exploring the theme of “Intersect”.

We are an intersectional platform for change, aiming for continuous improvement. We believe that the sharing of ideas, knowledge and experiences is the cornerstone of change. We are continually evolving and this year we want to create a platform that is more accessible, more inclusive and more inspiring than ever before.
